The same friend who inspired me to blog has given me a great idea for the direction of my blog. As you can tell, both by the content of my entries and by the lack of them, I've been struggling with entry topics. Well, with my friend's encouragement, and because of some comments I've made to her lately, I've decided to dedicate my blog, for the most part, to nostalgia. Hence the new title, "Nostalgia Nook." Nostalgia can and will probably encompass a variety of subjects. Anything from favorite memories, mine and those of others, t.v. shows, movies, books or music I grew up with, etc., to name just a few.
I've found the older I get, the more I enjoy recalling things that were comforting to me in a seemingly simpler time. I think we complicate things too much these days, and while I certainly cannot deny the advantages of today's world, and I live in it fully, I think this will be a nice place to indulge a part of me that shouldn't be put away or forgotten just because time has marched on.
